Health Is Wealth

Our body is like a machine. A machine needs energy to work well. A well-kept machine has a longer life.
Exercising is necessary for good health. Walking, running, jumping, swimming, playing games are all exercises. If the body is not used, it becomes weak. Exercise keeps it strong. We should also be careful about our eating habits. We should not eat too much and too often. We should be careful about the food we eat.
Cleanliness is equally important for keeping good health. There is a saying of our dear Holy Prophet (peace be upon him), “Cleanliness is the part of faith”. Do remember that you can keep your minds and bodies healthy if you pray. Before each prayer you wash your hands, face and feet. You brush your teeth and prepare yourself carefully. In this way you keep yourself clean and healthy. You know that there is a healthy mind in a healthy body. If you are healthy you can work hard. You don’t feel much tired even after a busy day. Moreover, a healthy man enjoys his work thoroughly. And finally, remember this saying of a wise man, “Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise”.
